Floor heating = comfortable warmth.
There is uncertainty about future energy policy. With the prospect of increasing energy prices is a water-based underfloor heating system with heat pump, always preferable to an electric floor heating system.
Facts about floor heating:
- Our architect calculates and takes a project chart for the abandonment of PEX pipes in the floor.
- PEX pipes are laid in a 5 mm vapor barrier and 30 mm insulation.
- The floor heating system is connected to a heat pump as an energy source.
- The house is divided into zones which can be individually temperature controlled via the distribution box
But what is a heat pump?
A heat pump utilizes the energy in the air to heat the water in the heating system up. It works like a refrigerator – only in reverse. It is a cheap form of heating that is also environmentally – and climate-friendly (reducing CO2 emissions).
Floor heating is controlled manually and single in the distribution box.
